Light Out is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your video watching experience by dimming everything on the page except the video player.

Data Collection

Permissions Explanation

• activeTab: Needed to apply the dimming effect only to the tab you click the extension icon on.
• scripting: Allows injecting the script that creates and removes the dimming overlay around the video.

These permissions are used solely for the extension’s intended functionality and nothing more.
